PROJECT – Pigeon Control by Effective Bird Control

Location: Trafalgar Square, London
Outcome: 5,000 birds, down to 1,000
Brief: Our team of Harris Hawks Liam and Jack were the first to control pigeons at Trafalgar Square in London, giving their followers a head start. This had the dramatic effect of bringing the transient pigeon population down from 5,000 birds to 1000 birds. This method of utilising trained birds of prey is not only environmentally friendly but is appropriate in areas from well known tourist areas to waste depots.
